Note From the Author:
In life we can be certain of two things. One, at some point we will die. And two, at some point or another, we will encounter assholes.
This book has been a side project of mine for sometime now, it started as a personal therapy project for me when a particular encounter in my life prevented me from writing anything else. Then, as I began to reflect on the various encounters i’ve had with assholes throughout my life, the ones I’ve witnessed around me, the times that I’ve been guilty of being one myself, and how those encounters have effected me and the people I know and love, it bloomed into something bigger. The book was no longer about me, rather, the source of all injustice in the world—and how by simply recognizing where it’s really coming from and taking responsibility for our own contributions, together, we can stop it.
More than anything, I hope that this book can bring laughter and be of some comfort to those who’ve had to deal with an asshole or assholes in their life, and remind them that despite the “bad eggs”, there are still plenty of guardians in the world.
